Personal Progress Passport

A new year means it's time for New Beginnings!
Heather, a cute gal in my ward, was preparing a talk for the young women and asked if I could help her with something. She wanted to create a Personal Progress Passport. Here's what she gave me to start with:
And this is the finished product:
The young women came up and "stamped" a temple in each spot as she taught them about the value. Super cute idea! Thanks for letting me help out, I love the Young Women's program.

Best DAYS Ever!

Ever heard the phrase "Best Day Ever"? Well, I have been lucky enough to have had 2 of those days!
24 years ago at the very grown up ages of 18 & 21 I married my best friend! I look back at our wedding pictures and think, who are those babies?
8 years later our little family was blessed to become an eternal family and be sealed in the Frankfurt Germany Temple.
(don't laugh at my early scrap booking skills!)
Together we've been through the good, the bad and occasionally ugly. Thanks for all the the memories babe, I love you.

Conference Projects

General Conference was this weekend, AKA T.V. Church at our house.
It was amazing as always. The talks are always so up lifting and I feel that the speakers are speaking directly to me.

Being the fidgety person that I am, I find that working on a project as I watch helps me to listen (stay awake) better. Here are some pictures of the projects I worked on.

Love You Forever
This quote comes from my kid's favorite childhood book. We would read it at least a couple times a week and when we got to this part we'd say it together. I read it this weekend for the first time in a long time and it still makes me cry!

HAPPY
This one is for my honey. He is my happy.

You Is Kind

When I was ask to make this little plaque for a christmas gift I was like...huh?
Then my cute girl explained to me that is was a quote from the movie The Help. Still a bit confused, I headed out to my local Red Box and rented the movie.
Loved it! If you haven't seen it or read the book I highly recommend it. It's hard to believe that people really lived like that not that long ago.

Family Tree

I put up this
Family Tree
for my sister in law on Thanksgiving.
Isn't it adorable?
Each leaf has a family members name on it. There are a bunch of blank leaves so as more grandkids come along we can add their names.
The twins loved showing off the leaves with their names!
I'm hoping someday to have a huge family tree of my own!
{hint to my children}

Halloween Luminaries

We had a great time at Activity Days today! We had a lesson about the Holy Ghost and make these Frankenstein Luminaries.
I have the BEST calling ever!
